Taylor-Made Deep Creek Sales is proud to announce the recipients of the 2025 Bob Carney Commitment to Community Scholarship: Jacquelyn Patton and Kambria Kyle. These outstanding students exemplify the spirit of community involvement, academic excellence, and leadership that defined Bob Carney’s life and legacy.

About the Scholarship
The Bob Carney Commitment to Community Scholarship was established in honor of Bob Carney, our former Broker and friend, who dedicated himself to serving Garrett County with integrity, kindness, and a genuine passion for helping others. Each year, Taylor-Made presents scholarships to local high school seniors who demonstrate exceptional community service, character, and commitment to making a difference.
Meet the 2025 Recipients
Jacquelyn Patton (Northern Garrett High School) has shown an extraordinary commitment to service, with nearly 400 hours of volunteer work, including time with the Grantsville Volunteer Fire Department and Southern Garrett Rescue Squad as an EMT. She is an active student leader, having served as Student Council Treasurer and Parliamentarian of the Garrett County Association of Student Councils. A member of Envirothon and FFA, Jacquelyn is also a tennis letterman and a recipient of the Distinguished Honor Roll and Iron Woman Award. She plans to pursue a career as a nationally registered and state-licensed paramedic, beginning her studies at Garrett College. Her passion for helping others reflect the core values of this scholarship.
Kambria Kyle (Northern Garrett High School) has an outstanding record of leadership and service includes roles as President of the National Honor Society, Battalion Commander of JROTC, and President of the Garrett County Association of Student Councils. Her most meaningful volunteer experience was working with the Deep Creek Lions Club Blind Camper Program, where she helped visually impaired campers enjoy summer adventures. Kambria also helped launch an annual first responder obstacle course competition that raises funds for community members in need of medical support. She is committed to continuing her service to others through a future in military leadership and education. Kambria has accepted an appointment to the United States Military Academy at West Point.
A Lasting Legacy
Bob Carney left a lasting impact on everyone who knew him, and this scholarship ensures that his dedication to community and service continues to inspire the next generation. We are honored to support these two exceptional students as they embark on the next chapter of their journeys.
