The Deep Creek Lake Art, Wine, and Spirits Festival is September 7, 2024 from noon-6PM at the Garrett County Fairgrounds. In its 20th year, it is a favorite late summer event. This year, spirits have been added to the mix that include craft bourbon, whiskey, and tequila.
- You can buy tickets in advance to save. Non-drinking tickets are available and kids under 12 get in free.
- Premium wine and private label bourbon tasting happens Friday from 5-8PM. This is an advanced sale only event.
- Local restaurants typically have wine pairing dinners Friday night. Keep an eye on social media for menus.
- Sample more than 200 wines from national and regional wineries along with a variety of craft spirits. Remember to drink responsibly and have a sober driver.
- Artists and craftsmen will display and sell their work. You will find everything from handcrafted jewelry and wood carvings to oil paintings and hand-painted furniture.
- Incredible food is available throughout the day including sandwiches, cheeses, ice cream, salads and more.
- Live music will keep you entertained.
- The football lounge features the college game of the week. Mountain State Brewing Co. will have cold beer on tap for sale.
- The Stogie Co. will be onsite with their mobile cigar lounge, where you can purchase and enjoy a nice stogie.
- There will be fun activities for the kids too.
- Wine and spirits are available for purchase. The shop stays open until 7PM.
