
The Deep Creek Lake Art & Wine Festival is September 8-9, 2023 from noon-6PM at the Garrett County Fairgrounds. In its 19th year, it is a favorite late summer event.
- You can buy tickets in advance to save. Adult tickets are $40.50 when you buy them by September 8th. At the gate, they are $46. You ticket gives you entry in to the festival Saturday along with a commemorative glass and wine tastings. Non-drinking/ages 13-20 tickets are $12, and kids under 12 get in free.
- Premium tasting happens Friday from 5-8PM. This is an advanced sale only event.
- Local restaurants typically have wine pairing dinners Friday night. Keep an eye on social media for menus.
- Sample more than 200 wines from national and regional wineries. Remember to drink responsibly and have a sober driver.
- Artists and craftsmen will display and sell their work. You will find everything from handcrafted jewelry and wood carvings to oil paintings and hand-painted furniture.
- Incredible food is available throughout the day including sandwiches, cheeses, ice cream, salads and more.
- Live music will keep you entertained.
- The football lounge features the college game of the week. Mountain State Brewing Co. and Short Story Brewing will have cold beer on tap for sale.
- The Stogie Co. will be onsite with their mobile cigar lounge, where you can purchase and enjoy a nice stogie.
- There will be fun activities for the kids too.
- Wine is available for purchase in the wine shop, and it stays open until 7PM.
Deep Creek Lake Art & Wine Festival weekend is popular with locals and visitors alike. It benefits local non-profits, HART for Animals and Garrett Lakes Arts Festival.
