Deep Creek Lake Centennial

This year marks the Deep Creek Lake centennial—a century rich with memories and magic. Established in 1925 following the construction of a hydroelectric dam, the lake has become a central feature of the region, offering recreational activities and natural beauty to residents and visitors alike.

Deep Creek Lake 100

To honor this significant milestone, the Deep Creek Lake 100th Anniversary Committee (DCL100) was formed. It comprises representatives from more than ten local organizations. They have organized a series of Deep Creek Lake centennial events and projects throughout the year. Their mission is to celebrate the lake’s heritage and ensure its preservation for future generations.

Taylor-Made Deep Creek Sales is a proud sponsor of the Deep Creek Lake centennial celebrations. One of our sales agents, Chris Nichols, serves as Chair for the DCL100 Committee, and another agent, Karen Myers, is Vice Chair.
