Festival of Trees Garrett County

The Festival of Trees in Garrett County, Maryland, is one of the area’s most beloved holiday events, drawing people from all over to experience the magic of the Christmas season while supporting a great cause. Held annually at the Garrett County Fairgrounds in McHenry, the 2024 event will take place on November 29-30. The festival transforms the fairgrounds into a wonderland filled with elaborately decorated Christmas trees, wreaths, and centerpieces, all locally designed and available for purchase. These beautifully adorned creations make perfect holiday decorations or gifts, and the sale proceeds go toward supporting the Dove Center, a local nonprofit organization dedicated to helping victims of domestic violence.

Since its inception, the Festival of Trees has raised over $275,000 for the Dove Center, making it more than just a festive celebration. Each decorated tree represents the community’s generosity and commitment to making a difference in the lives of those in need.
