Taylor-Made gives back to the local community on a regular basis. That is one of the core values of our company. Recently, we showed our support to several area organizations. Because of COVID-19, many were unable to hold key fundraisers. Looking forward, we are hopeful that they can do so in the near future.
Our company has a history of supporting the community. We are family owned and locally operated. So, these organizations are near and dear to our hearts. They are an important part of what makes Garrett County a great place to live.
Taylor-Made Gives Back – Recent Donations
A $25,000 donation was given to Garrett Regional Medical Center. We are very fortunate to have such a great healthcare facility. The hard working staff at our local hospital is appreciated beyond measure.
We love our local sports teams! Southern and Northern High School athletics programs each received a $10,000 donation from Taylor-Made.
Cindy’s Fund provides financial support families dealing with cancer. It was our pleasure to give them a $5,000 donation to assist with their incredible mission.
Taylor-Made gave $5,000 to Landon’s Library. Each month, they provide books to every child born in Garrett County from date of birth until their first day of kindergarten. It is the first county-wide effort of its kind in Maryland.
Our employees are also incredibly generous. Every holiday season, they give gifts to the residents of Dennett Road Nursing Home. They gave many items to the Loch Lynn Church of God to re-stock their food pantry as well.
In Conclusion
It is truly wonderful to live in a community where so many people are looking out for their neighbor. We are proud to be a Garrett County business and will always be dedicated to supporting organizations that help others and enrich lives. If you are able, consider making a donation or working as a volunteer.
