McHenry is an unincorporated community located on the northernmost shore of Deep Creek Lake. This area expands outward to include Wisp Resort, Garrett College, Garrett County Airport, the Adventure Sports Center International, and Lodestone Golf Course. The recent census puts McHenry’s population at about 1,500.
