The Blakeslee Community offers a mix of lakefront and lake access homes. It is popular because of its quiet, serene setting, and the numerous amenities available. The large, wooded lots provide for a feeling of privacy and plenty of play area. The community is fairly level and arranged in a circular (1.6 miles) fashion which makes it perfect for biking, jogging and just an afternoon stroll. In addition, there are 5 miles of hiking trails within the community; motorized vehicles including snow mobiles and four wheelers are not permitted on the trails. Deer, wild turkeys and other wildlife are often seen in the fields by the entrance to the community.
Blakeslee community amenities include:
- Community center with a TV, pool table, meeting space, and a 25’X50′ indoor pool
- A large sports field
- 2 Tennis courts
- Basketball court
- Mailboxes
- 3 Community docks with assigned slips for lake access homes
Community dumpsters are available for residents’ use. The grounds crew keeps roads and common areas maintained and takes care of snow plowing. They are available for hire to maintain lawns and driveways.
